Firecracker Quilt Pattern | Fun & Done! Quilting Pattern | FLQD207
Fun & Done Quilting patterns are a unique Quilt-As-You-Go technique. The Firecracker Quilt pattern is one of 30 patterns in the Fun & Done Quilting line. The black background and bright reds, yellows and oranges fabric choices make this a very vibrant quilt. Get creative with fabric choices to get a completely different look. Have fun with it!
Like all of the Fun & Done! Quilting patterns, Firecracker is a quilt-as-you-go technique. There are four different quilt sizes that can be made using this pattern. They are table runner 15 x 45, crib 45 x 45 size, lap size 45 x 60 and twin size 75 x 90. This quilt pattern is quite simple. Great for the beginner Fun & Done! quilter. The skill level required is Beginner to Intermediate.
While it is not required, I suggest purchasing Batting Buddy 2-Piece Template Set. It can be found under Templates. The Batting Buddy 2-Piece Template Set makes cutting and assembly so much easier and with great results. The frame portion is used to cut the backing fabric. The inner square portion is used to cut out the batting. Use the frame again to perfectly center the batting in the middle of the backing. I use a walking foot with a 1/4" foot for block construction and the stitch-in-the-ditch foot for sewing blocks together and for sewing down the sashing. A zipper foot works okay.
The pattern pages are designed to be printed on 8-1/2 x 11 inch paper. If your standard paper size is different, when printing your pattern be sure to print the template pages actual size, not fit to page.
